Oh yeah. The last part of my "top up" procedure is to just push outwards
on the vertical part (put down window or open door first, or you might break
the window). This closes up the gap (at least minimizes it). If you look
at the mechanism you'll see a kinda blade spring that should do this
automatically (if it really worked...). Of course if your neck likes
the draft I guess you could leave it.. kind of flow through ventilation,
a special option.
