I was checking out the wiring to the headlights on my series V and found
under the two front hood buffers ,clips with ground wires going to them..
In the wiring diagram the ground wires were shown both on one side, but on
mine there was one on each side of the hood. They were real dirty so I took
them apart and cleaned them. I found out the clips were made of brass
after I got all the gunk off. Now the head lights are much brighter. Also
in the trunk there is a similar arrangement on the trunk latch mech. on the
lower bolt. This is a real hokey set up , I was tempted to change it but
you know originality and all that.

P.S. while I was looking at the taillight wires on the drivers side I
noticed a tag hanging from the wires it had someones signature and it said
checked by. A moment in time I guess.
