First, bah humbug, get with the program and enjoy the conjecture.

Second, as to Porsche being a high volume manufacturer, from 1950 to 1964,
Porsche built a total of 38,159 cars (all of the 356 cars) and from 1964
to 1967, Porsche built 11,922 cars (911's), compared to the 76,253 cars
that Sunbeam built (Alpines 69,251 and Tigers 7,002) from 1959 to 1967.
Almost twice as many cars in less than half the time! So which company is
the high volume manufacturer? (Sorry, I do have to admit a soft spot on
the Porsche side once and a while).
