Loewy was always credited for many of the designs, but he had little or nothing
to do with them, in fact as my research gathers momentum, it appears the Loewy
organization did very little apart from design the original Minx, and
contributed to a couple of the early Humbers, I would love to find out how much
they charged Rootes for the retainer.
The chap I need interviewing in Australia should interest you, he designed the
'proper' Alpine.
Don't tell me, you are just about to take a holiday in Australia, Victoria area
by any chance....!
