Gentlemen (and Ladies!),
On the eighteenth day of February in the year 1996 at approximately
11:30 am AST (Atlantic Standard Time), in the small village of Waverley,
Nova Scotia (Eastern Canada) and after a 14 month gestation period, the
newly rebuilt 2267cc "proper" Alpine engine sprang to life!!! There was one
firing on the first revolution and it ran continuosly without the help of a
starter after four revolutions. Father and Mother are both well!

Crank From New Mexico
Head From North Carolina - Help of Doug Abraham, also on British Cars
Pistons +.030" - From Columbus, Ohio (found on Internet)
Bearings -.020" - From STAR in England
Clutch From New Mexico Engine (NEW)
New Components:
Valves
Cam Chain and Sprockets and tensioner
Oil Pump
Lifters
Water Pump
Rebuilt Generator
Rebuilt Starter
Rebuilt Fuel Pump
Motor Mounts
Every bracket, nut and bolt was cleaned and painted and the whole
engine compartment is as when built 43 years ago!
