Congratulations on the new Alpine and surviving the trip home! Now the
question is will you survive the rebuild?
Carnival Red was available on all Alpines "except very late Series V". I
don't know if your car classifies as very late. The last Alpine VIN was
B395019122, making yours somewhere near the last 2000. If you could find
the plate with the VIN number, it also probably has the original color
code. If you post that number, we can let you know the original color.
