YES. 1. When he re-installed the vacuum canister with the 3 bolts inside,
he didn't get it re-aligned properly. The piston rod has to be
straight down the bore.
2. The sponge rubber thingy that goes behind the leather seal on the
vacuum seal is too thick. The tech tips say to re-use the old one
which I have been doing, or else take the new one and clip it
thinner.
3. The black grease for the vacuum canister that comes in the kit
is old and sticky. Use silicone spray liberaly instead.
I've had this problem myself on my own rebuilds. Got it stuck good in the
middle of the street one time! Had to bleed off some pressure to get it
home again... keep a little wrench with you.
