rebound straps, transmission tunnels, etc.

After exhaustive and extensive research (okay, I spent maybe ten minutes), I
can report the following:

Rebound straps- a single parts number is listed for both series 1 and series
2 Alpines. My memory from some years ago was that the S2 straps were wider
by about a half inch, but perhaps not. They are just a canvas web, and yes,
one of mine is busted. Next time I crawl under, I'll take a tape measure
with me and get the dimensions from the good one.

Automatic tranny tunnel - The body shell for automatic transmission cars has
a completely different parts number than the standard transmission cars.
There is a notation that the rear motor mounts must be removed before
installing an automatic. But the complete separation of parts numbers makes
me suspect that there are quite a few differences somewhere in the mix.
There is also a distinction between molded carpet sets for the cars.
