What I heard said that there has been a "re-formulation" of our fuel
intended for all year around use. This is not the same as the winter only
oxygenation we have had here in California for a few years. A friend of
mine has been complaining bitterly about this. He has a fleet of 60s' Fords
and has had some significant problems with the fuel systems on some of his
cars since the change-over. If no one else can come up with details, and if
anyone is interested, I'll ask him for a write up on the subject. He says
he has some periodical clippings which discuss this topic.
