Bought my first Alpine Series IV(it was also my first car) in 1985 for
$600.............put $1700 into it and it was real nice. Ran great to and
from work and school daily rain or shine (it was my only car)
It was totalled by a truck who didn't see a stop sign in 1986.
Bought my second ( Series V) in '86. (with help searching from Uncle Wally
Swift)
