I am preparing to rebuild my 1725cc alloy head engine. The questions I have
are:

Which would be the best pistons? A local store has original stock (30 year
old) hepalite 30 thou oversize pistons available. There are also new
pistons being manufactured by an Australian company. Would these pistons be
better with all the modern manufacturing techniques or since the original
engines all went so well would the hepalites be better? I tend to lean
toward the hepalites.

Also I have heard some discussion about aluminium/tin versus copper/lead
versus white metal bearings and I am confused. Anyone know something?
