Subject: LA Storage/Door Locks
Does anybody know where I can find a reasonably-priced
storage/garage in the LA area (preferably westside)? I have a
67 Alpine which never new rust until I recently moved to within
100 yards of surf in Venice Beach area.
BTW, anybody know a good locksmith in LA area where I can have keys
duplicated
and or made for same car. I lost both sets of orginal keys, bought a set of
matching
ignition/doors locks from SS but could not install door locks without specia
l
equipment.
Would appreciate any help.

Are you sure that the locks can't be taken apart without special tools?
I seem to remember disassembling them at one point when I had the handles
off when the car was out for painting.
I don't have any good suggestions about storage. I look myself at one
point. I found the going rate for garages that were not in use to be way
to high to make any sense - something like a few hundred a month. I did
not look into any of these storage places. Probably need to go out to
the Valley for those.
