I just moved to Dallas, Texas from Nashville, Tennessee.
I'd like to hear from somebody in the Dallas area with
an interest in Sunbeams.
I'd like to find a parts car source...just in case.
I have two Alpines a Series V and a Series II. Both
restored though the Series V is showing some age.
The Series II has yet to be on the road... the transmission
was fine until I put it back in the car (I did put new seals
in it). The shift linkage is not wanting to work. It currently
only shifts from neutral to fourth. Strange... as soon
as I get moved in I'll pull the transmission. Has anybody
rebuild these things? Or familair with the linkage action?
Taking the O.D. off wouldn't be connected with this problem.
Could it?
I am looking for hardtop chrome for the SII. Also, theclear
plastic bezel around the heater controls. The type usually
found on SIII. I have a late SII but it had a SIII type of dash.
