There seem to be some confusion out there as to what a third member is.
Well, there are basically two types of differentials, the spicer type
where the gears set up in the axle housing and there is a rear access
cover, this is what the Tigers have. A third member is the housing and
carrier that you can pull out of the axle housing complete with ring and
pinion. Hope that clears it up for those who didn't know.
