Hello everyone! I am new to this list having just recently stumbled upon it.
My latest Sunbeam (there have been a few previously) project is a 1966 Series
V. The car is complete with the exception of the engine. It appears that
there was aproblem with the block - it is missing while most of the engine is
in a couple of boxes. The body is straight and rust free on the outer skin,
however the floor pans have some rot - not into the frame structure though.
Any suggestions on how best to tackle the floor would be appreciated. I'm
not used to working with a unitized structure like this.
Anyhow, I'm obviously looking for an engine complete or not, running or not,
it doesn't matter if the price is right. Would also like to hear any ideas
on alternate power plants that you may have successfully installed. Also
needed are a pair of bucket seats and the hardtop.
