Rick at Sunbeam Specialties tells me that the front springs on an early
series car has roughly the same spring rate as the tiger and therefore
doesn't need to be changed to tiger springs. Can anyone confirm that?
I understand steering geometry enough to know that if I install a rear
swaybar I will also need to beef up the front bar and/or springs. I take
it by the discussion on the newsgroup that there is no concensus as to
how to properly set up an early alpine. I was hoping that there was so
that I wouldn't have to go through the old trial and error method. I will
check out the vintage racing book.
Thanks for the suggestions.
