Terry, didn't mean to "out" you. Thanks for the summary on the swap parts!
I was just about to look through my archives to get that top hose info that
you sent me a while back but you saved me the trouble.
I believe there are a few more out there who have either done this swap or
are in process or considering it. Care to step forward? We could start a
self help group, AAA (Alpine Augmentors Associtation) or something like
that. "Hello, my name is Frank Marrone and I've swaped a pinto motor into
my Alpine." Only problem is that I'm not looking for recovery.
My swap is working out pretty close to Terrys. Some of the main differences
are because my transmission choice is different from his. His sounds easier!!
Anyhow, I'm going to attempt a mock up of the hose situation today. Thanks
for the motivation!!
