I was at a British car show this weekend in Richmond and ran into some fellow
Tigers East / Alpines East club members. I asked them about any differences
between Series 3 hardtops and later series Alpines and Tigers.
Jim D'Amelio explained there WAS a difference in latching mechanisms and
something else. However, my memory being what it is, I have forgotten the
something else. Jim monitors the Alpines chat line and owns a Series 3 GT and a
Tiger Mk IA.
Can I get you to respond Jim and explain to all of us the differences in
hardtops???
