RE: Alpine Heads

        Hey Dick, I know it's been a long time since I owned an Alpine, but I
remember that my little 1592 in my series IV had tube inserts in the
spark plug holes. They didn't seal real well, and would eventually fill
about half way up with oil. I remember this because I had to keep these
clean otherwise it would drown the plug in oil, usually fowling the boot
and the conection, and just generally made a hell of a mess. Mine was
definitely the 1592 as the car was original when we got it, plus I had
seen the others when "boneyarding" for parts.
        Am I just completely screwed up, or am I channeling for a series V
owner !!!

window sticker from 1977-78 !!
