Yes, the body and chasis are attached at a few places, several hundred to be more accurate. When I start cutting out the floor and sills on mine, I will count the number of welds as I go. Ok, enough sarcasm. The car is of Unit body construction, or is that unibody or maybe monocoque. You will need an air chisel, grinder, metal nibbler etc to remove the, let me guess, RUSTED sections from the body. I am about to embark on the same project if only I could find he time.
