A while back I posted news of an alpine in a boneyard here in redding = Ca. I also posted an update, but never saw it on the list, so excuse me = if this is reduntent info...

I went to get a good look at it, and even shot about eight photos of it = to post here on the list when I can. I was a bit dissapointed as it was = quite rusted. More like swiss cheese, but it is all there minus the = bumpers, the grill and one headlight ring, otherwise its all there. It = appears to be a series IV with an early pinto powerplant and tranny. The = batterybox is gone, and with applied pressure to parts of the floor = boards it does make that awefull cracking sound. It is missing the = wheels as well, and has a few aftermarket wheels on it and near it. The = guy that owns it was asking $300 for it, but I informed him it was far = from worth it, he is open. The body is not bad for being in a junk yard, = no major damage, but signs of bondo throughout. I will post the photos = as soon as I can (need to run the roll of film off, develope, and take = to work to scan in). I think it would be better to part it out = myself....
