According to Moss Motors, the wire wheel for the Alpine is the same as the one for the Midget and the Sprite. They do carry a really sharp mag wheel that has a splined center for the Midget and Sprite and looks like a Minilite. The price is $259.95 each ($154 for the painted new wire wheels). So, maybe there are other alternatives out there. The wheel is 14 inches in diameter and Moss writes that it must be used with a low profile tire since the stock size for those cars is 13 inces.

I must also note that I was wrong on an earlier post, unless Moss is wrong here. I posted that the hub size for the MGB was not the same as the Alpine, which I was most definitely told by North Hollywood Wire Wheel. But, Moss lists the same wire wheel for the Alpine and the Midget and then lists the same mag knock-off wheel for the Midget and the MGB (though the MGB has 14" stock, so it does not need the low profile tire). So, if A=B and B=C, well then, I stand corrected.

I know someone posted that they used an MGB 14" wire in an emergency. Anyone else tried it on a more regular basis?
