on the right side of the car between the inside right fender and the

The bottle in mine is a cream colored (yellowed white?) plastic bottle (ca.
1L) with ROOTES embossed in it. If you need a picture, I can send a
polaroid via snail mail."

***** NOTES from Jay Laifman (JLAIFMAN (at) PNM) at 7/1/96 2:59p
A "Tudor" bottle is the later washer bottle that has "Tudor" in blue on
the bottle. There is no embossed "ROOTES". Series V's had a rubber/vinyl
bag with two holes on top that hooked into two hooks on the left front of
the engine compartment. I understand that the Tiger switched from the
Rootes bottle to the Tudor bottle in 1966, and then to a slightly
different Tudor bottle with larger diameter in 1967. I don't know how
that corresponds to the Alpine. I can see from some pictures I have, a
Series III and a Series IV that have the Tudor bottle in the right rear of
the engine compartment. James has the Rootes bottle in his Series II as
original. So, I guess that just leaves what the Series I came with,
unless there were changes within models, which wouldn't be surprising.
