There is a classics car show in San Bernardino this whole weekend. It
had quite a lot of publicity for the past two months but no one showed
up! There were three cars that showed up. It may be because it is
the 4th of July but I was surprised at the low turn out.
If there are any of you local, you might want to show up and at least
partially represent some Brit cars.
It is located at the old Norton Air Force Base, now the San Bernardino
Air Port (currently not operational) in San Bernardino. It is off of
the 215 freeway just north of the I-10. Go north on the 215 toward Mt
Resorts (it may say the 30 east) exit Del Rosa turn right (South) for
about 5 miles and it goes straight into the base or airport and it is
on the left as you enter.
It will continue Friday, Sat and Sun. Friday and Saturday 11:00 am to
11:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
I am running a concession stand (Pepsi etc.) but my Sunbeam isn't up
and running yet. Hope to see some of you there!
