Also on the Imps a pentastar appeared on the right hand side
of the bodies fender/wheelarch (for RHD-cars) during 1967.
Also then for the continent (Europe) the name Hillman disappeared
and all Hillman models were rebatched to Sunbeam.
I don't like them either !
Chrysler still have them cheap ugly things on the bonnet of their Neons.

I have some origional sales brochures from the Alpine III/IV/V and
the Alpine Harrington LeMans. some are in dutch !
They are really worth collecting, I usually find them at autoshows.
Sometimes you can find Sunbeam/Rootes pins there as well, really
great for on your jacket or tie.
I got a chrome one with the Sunbeam-Talbot badge on it with wings
looks great.
(Did you know that the animal on the logo is a Talbot dog and not a lion
as everybody beleives !)
I've also seen some official Rootes ones which Rootes salesmen used to wear
at autoshows, they have a Rootes badge and an insert for the persons
name.
Another item which is very collectable is the oval yellow Rootes sign
which dealers had on there walls.
They are made from are enamalled metal.
