Thanks Jay.

I've printed out a copy of your message, and will give it to Garry
when I deliver the intake.

I think he was planning on doing something to accommodate linkage,
but don't know exactly what.

Wouldn't it be better if he left all the runners unported? Is there some
reason
you can/shouldn't just drill and tap another hole if you need another vacuum

port?

Will we still have this problem if we are using the headers instead of the
cast-iron exhaust manifold?

P.S. For what it's worth. When I talked with Garry back in March, he gave
me the name and number of a source for Weber carburetors. The
Name was Steve Nelson, the outfit was Top-End Performance in
North Hollywood, and he quoted $290 each for Weber 40s. Anybody
have a better deal on Webers? (We might be needin' 'em by
Christmas!)
