From the responses I got, I'm thinking it's a combination of problems. The
clicking that I'm hearing now is probably from a bad starter, perhaps on a "dead
spot." I'm going to have to pull it and put in the old starter. I bench tested
the old one and it turns, so hopefully...
The motor could have a bad ground. I'll have to get under the car and check the
strap. The battery to body strap is good, and the terminals are clean and new.
The only question is, would a dodgy ground only show up when hot?
