I thought Imp parts started with a 7. If you will give me a few
numbers, I have a factory parts book for the Imp and I will look them
     up tonight.

Okay folks I'm stumped. I have been asked by someone to identify approx. 50+
NOS parts, all in traditional blue and gold Rootes boxes, bags, etc. (so we're
talking
roughly mid 50's through mid 60's era); each part number starts with a 7, and
each number is eight digits in length; for example #71240978 or #72255950; they
are miscellaneous electrical, mechanical bits

None of these numbers check out in my Alpine, Rapier, or Minx parts books; I
have
checked with Tiger people and these don't apply to Tigers either

Does anyone out there have a clue? Humber? Singer? Commer? Pacer.....?
