Winter Layup

Just thought I would start this one early...

Winter will inevitably come again and in Ohio that means salt on the roads and
the Alpine must go to the garage. I am interested in any and everyone's
thoughts about the best method for storing the car over the winter. I am
unsure, as of now, whether I will do an engine rebuild this winter or not. So
lets assume I just want the car to go in the garage in November and out in
April, with minor work to be done before driving.
