     Jim of course is correct. I researched the part numbers in my manual
     yesterday and come up empty. I was making an educated guess based on
     seeing part numbers that start with 7 in my parts manual.

Chris is correct Imp part # did start with a 7, but they were seven digit #'s
ie; 7123456
Marc is also correct Chrysler added the 7 ie; 71234567 for computer
compatibility
( Hi Marc its been awhile )
Most of the eight digit # beginning with 7 were for the Cricket athough some
were
used for the 69 Alpine.
