With the help of Jarrid Gorss, I just got off the phone with
an outfit called ARP. Apparently they provide some pretty
spiffy rod bolts that some percieve to be the best you can get.
They don't have anything "off the shelf" to match our
11/32 x 2-1/2 inch configuration, but they said they
could make 'em if I could give them a drawing or
a sample. (The guy wouldn't speculate on the
cost without looking at what we need. To his
credit, I think.)
Anyway, within the next week or so, I'll either be
taking or shipping them an Alpine rod bolt to
look at and come up with a price/quantity
proposal.
Anybody else out there interested in this deal?
