I previously inquired about semi-metalic versus non-metalic brake pads.
I ended up buying the semi-metalic ones. They definitely seem to make a
difference over the non-metalics that they replace with a noticable
extra bite. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who has dropped the
servo (I say that now, let's see when my rotors warp or wear out).
I also replaced the bleed screws on the calipers with new ones. One of
the old ones had worn at the contact area in such a way as to cause a
leak (there being the reason for the new pads) even after fully
tightening them - but it did not materialize until driving for some time.
