Here in Buena Park Ca, there is an auto paint place called Thompsons.

There shop is on Beach BVLD and Artesia. "Sorry non Ca residents".
If needed, I can get the address and telephone number.

When I was looking into my own paint colours, I discovered that they at
least thought they had a mix chart for acrylic enamel.

The paint codes were in a really old import codes book, and were under
Talbot or Chryslor UK. It included all of the paint codes "Rootes Codes"
for Sunbeam, Talbot, Simca ECT,and their equivilent paint code.
I was interested in Carnival Red, and I brought in an undeteriorated painted
part to check the match. It looked good to me, but that is just paper, not
paint.

They told me at the time, that the equivilent color in laquer was not
available.

These people treated me pretty good, and the prices are fair.
Other than that your on your own.

Hope this helps someone.
