I have a '66 Series V that has set for a number of years. The original
owner pulled the plugs and put oil on top of the pistions, but left the
plugs out. Then I acquired it. I found that the engine may be
seized. A friend told me that one of the old time tricks to unseize a
motor was to use iodine. Does anyone know this technique? If so, what
is it and how is it done? Also, is there another way to unseize this
beast? Or is it doomed to be a boat anchor? Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks alot.
Scotty.
