Hi,

does anyone have, or know where to find the following part for my dear
Sunbeam Alpine S4,Manual transmission with Overdrive,LHD.

Back axle Crown wheel And Bevel Pinion
        (should be 4.222:1 ratio, part no. 5220640 according to "SUNBEAM
ALPINE PARTS LIST")
Bearings & Gaskets

Overdrive Solenoid Switch Unit (the unit that is attached to the
Overdrive) and the Lever Switch (the OD Command atthached to the
steering column)

Also, there is a Rapier carcass thrown away somewhere. is there any use
bothering to take it's back axle apart for the crown and pinion?

p.s. thanks for the information about the carnival red paint.I've find a
paint that in it's pure state is very similar to the original.

Garry: there are at least two more Alpines restored in Israel, but as
they are highly regarded, you don't often see them driven. Only mine is
screaming thru Tel Aviv's streets (back axle problems, you know...)
