Howdy Alpiners and Tigerers:

I am not connected to this company in any way whatsoever but am passing
info on it to the group strictly for informational porpoises
(blub..blub)..... and passing it on from my non-computerized friends, Joe
& Georgia Smith (own two Tigers), who has had a recent great experience
with them:

Barlow Insurance at (909)279-4002 (southern California) handles classic
car insurance and if you ever have a legit claim, they have handled them
very professionaly and successfully, Joe says, with a great attitude.

Now for a technical question for the group:
I have been trying to convince my beat up 63 Alpine to get off it's
posterior and fix itself. It refuses to listen to me and seems to instead
prefer laying idly in my garage with a glazed, spaced out look in it's
worthless Lucas headlights. It has left its pitiful motor in pieces on
the floor and has not had even the initiative to repair its broken seats
so I can sit in it and gaze at its lifeless gauges and dash.

My question is: How can I get this lazy, shiftless British car to repair
itself, thereby saving me the time and money of doing it myself?

Quizzically,

Steve Sage
