TWM Inductions just called, and they have finished the machining on
a couple of our Weber intakes. They want to send one to me so I can
check it out for obvious problems before they do the rest.
They said they will ship it today, so I should get it tomorrow or Friday.
Here's what I can do:
1. I can bolt it up to the empty Series V head that's on the workbench in
my garage.
2. I can install both aftermarket <stainless steel> tube-type headers and
a cast-iron manifold and check for fit/interference problems.
3. I can remove the twin-Zenith setup from the Series II motor that's in
the car
and bolt it up there, along with the original tube-type headers.
Since I don't have the Webers, I can't do anything to verify that interface,
but then hey, shouldn't these TWM guys be the experts on that end anyway?
Other than that, do any of you have any ideas about what I should look for?
