With due respect to all due respect, $15K is a tad more than most would pay
for an Alpine, but have you ever restored one? A primo-resto Alpine will
have had more than $15k thrown at it in order to make it a primo-resto.

Perhaps this one is exceptional. In any case, having one sell for $15K
certainly should not hurt any of our egos.

Having been there"restored", done that "paid the coin", I can say I'd rather
have paid the money up front and saved the skin on my knuckles.

At least the oil slick on my garage floor would have been smaller "maybe".
