More Gear Oil Ramblings

     All,
     
     I am no expert on this subject but it looks, from the information on
     the Vintage Triumph Registry web page, like you should use GL-5 rated
     gear lubricant.
     
     Even though GL-5 lubricant contains sulphur and phosphates, they do
     not break down and do damage until they reach 250 degrees. As
     differentials do not reach this temperature there will be no sulphur
     and phosphate reaction. At least that's how I read it.
