I actually had a GOOD experience with them! During my non-enlightened first
days of Alpine ownership, I actually bought some high ticket items from
them incl. one stainless exhaust. Well, the exhaust resonator baffles came
loose 8 mos. after purchase, but as described in the catalog, they were
lifetime warranted. V.B. followed up and quickly sent me a new resonator.
Par for the course or unholy exception? The unsightly DELUXE carpet kit I
bought is still in the box though. (Any takers?) And yes, Rick(S.S.) is
near sainthood whenever I need something.;)
