Just put it in the engine oil overnight before installing, but
before check carefully if there aren't any hair-cracks in the graphite
or housing otherwise you'll have to do the job twice in a week !
This happened to my Imps clutch twice. once the graphite ring came out
the second time the whole housing split !
Also check the clutch unit itself having a smooth surface otherwise it
wears out in no time.
For an Imp you can use the proper bearing type of a Volkswagen van I'm
told, I've seen some pictures in Impressions the mag of the Imp Club
I must have it somewhere...
