No problem just "baffle" it, put a metal plate with hole for
oil pickup pipe and some more small holes so the oil can return into the sump
and mount it underneath the block together with the alu sump.
(Make sure the plate doesn't foul the crankshaft though)
The Imp suffers this problem as well (the engine being tilted 45degr. that
is even easier to deal with, just weld some baffle panels in the steel sump.
