Rebound strap

Ole mentions that the rebound strap is 22" long. In order to be sure that
I install one correctly, what should be the drop from the frame to the
axle when the rebound strap is fully extended. I suppose someone who has
the rebound straps intact will have to jack up their car and measure this
for us. Thanks in advance.
