The good old days

Years ago drivers of like cars used to wave at one another as they passed
on the road - or so I'm told since I'm too young to remember.

Today I was out in my Imp when I spotted a well cared-for Super Minx coming
toward me. The driver, a gentleman of about 60, was obviously a like-minded
enthusiast thought I, so I gave him a cheery wave. In return he stared at
me like I was some sort of weirdo. (Mind you, lotsa folks stare at me like
I'm a weirdo, but I think that might be different).

Sigh.
