I've finally been able to purchase a set of Series V seats to replace the
Series 1-2 seats that came in my Series V. But they came without the
slides that belong between the seat and the floor. So I have questions.
Apparently, the seat bottoms can pivot forward by two bolts that attach
them to the slides. Is that correct?
Do the early seats attach in the same way? (I am hoping that the
previous owner kept the Series V slides in the car and simply bolted the
early seats to them.)
Finally, are the slide assemblies the same or different in series 1-5?
If different, how do I recognize Series V slides?
Thanks for your help.
