I agree: red interior can be "tacky," but that's one aspect of British
cars (and italian) that I've always admired: their subtle and
not-so-subtle tackiness. That aspect makes owning one a more enjoyable
experience than owning a car with the cold elegance of say...a german
car.

Having said that, my Alpine unfortunately has a red interior (from the
prior owner) which I think is bit too much for a white car. I've been
planning a black interior for the car for its first resotration. But I
really do think that on a black car, red would look great.

Just my opinion.

BTW, sorry if I offended anybody with the "Ebonic" language, I guess now
that it has a name, its politically incorrect to write that way (does
that mean that Toni Morrison has to rescind her well-deserved Nobel
Prize?)
