It would, at that. So would a white belt and shoes.

I'm troubled by the breadth and depth of the sentiment against a black
car with red interior. Maybe I am just a person of unsophisticated
taste, but I think I would like it. Come to think of it, I had a black
Corvair Monza with red interior back in my salad days, and did like it.

Of course my taste is suspect; I like (or at least find interesting) my
bugeye's lime green/medium green combination. Amid a sea of red cars, it
stands out. Red cars, I might add, that almost always have black
interiors.
