A couple of weeks ago I requested assistance in determining whether
the axle shaft I have are off of a Series 5 or a Series 3 / 4. Someone
wrote back and told me that the diameter of his axle shafts is 1.125",
measured at the large bearing. I mistakenly zapped his message and
can't remember whether he said his was a Series 5.
Does anyone know if he was describing a Series 5 shaft? Is the Series
3 & 4 axle shaft diameter larger or smaller than the S5? What is the
diameter of the Series 3 & 4 shaft at the axle bearing?
