Ole, thanks for your efforts. I was in the UK in Oct. and spoke with MWS on
the telephone. They advise they no longer stock these lug-nuts!
I have found some lug-nuts locally that may fit the bill once I get them
machined to add a chamfer on the bearing surface. Unfortunately, they are
13/16 AF instead of 3/4 AF and I cannot get my deep socket in between the
spokes of the wire wheel without forcing the spokes apart. I'm going to get
the socket reduced in diameter and hope that will work. I did order a sample
centre cap last week from Real Wire Wheel Co. and I after grinding the
flanges on the back, it fits and looks OK. I have ordered 3 more.
This has turned into quite a project but I know the car will look great when
I finally get these wheels on!
