Side Mirrors for a Series Two

I've taken the PO installed Ford mirrors off the T-pine and would appreciate
some advice on replacements. I'm considering the Lucas style mirrors that Moss
currently has on sale for about $12(US)/side. They have "late" and, I
suppose, early styles; main difference appears to be a longer foot on the
"late" version. Both have chrome stems with stainless heads.

One advert I have for a Series II shows the early style mounted to the doors;
but this probably doesn't mean much based on the recent seat color discussions.
Does anyone know if both of these styles were available in '62? Also, any
recommendations for/against these or other side mirrors?
